NekoRay [Deprecated]

This app is still under development and contains bugs. Please use Clash for Windows instead.

Recommended environment: Windows 7+

Required dependencies:

Visual Studio C++ 2015-2019.

If you don't have it installed or encounter a .dll error when running the program, please install VS C++.

Download and install

Click here to download the app. It will download it in .ZIP format.

Find the nekoray.zip file in your download folder. Unzip it (right click > Extract all... ). Then, open the unzipped folder.

Double-click on the "nekoray" file to install.

If there's a "Windows protected your pc" pop-up, click "more info" > "run anyway".

If you have an additional error pop up at this point, you probably don't have Visual Studio C++ 2015-2019 installed.

Click here to download the installer. Then, install Visual Studio C++ on your PC. This program is from Microsoft, it is safe.

To create a shortcut to your desktop so you don't need to find the Nekoray file everytime, right click on the nekoray file, and click send to > desktop.

On Windows 11, you may need to select "Show more options"

You can find Nekoray in the tray at the bottom right corner of your screen

Add the servers

Get the api link

1. Go to your client area
2. Under "Windows", select "Nekoray for Windows (v2.6+)"

3. Click on the "Copy API" button to copy the API

The API link should start with https://api.wannaflix.com/apiv3.php?type=nekoray

Paste the api link into the app

1. Open the nekoray app (You can find it by double clicking on the nekoray icon in the tray on the bottom right corner of your screen (unless it's already open)).

2. Go to Program > Add profile from clipboard

3. Make sure the link added is the API (see the note above)

4. Click OK.

If nothing happens when you click Program > Add profile from clipboard, it means you did not successfully copy the API to your clipboard. Go back to your dashboard and click on the "Copy API" button to copy the API again.

Select a server

1. Open Nekoray

2. Select a server from the list

3. Press the [ENTER] key on your keyboard

When a server is selected, you will see a tick instead of a number on the left-most column

Start the VPN

Select "VPN" or "Proxy" mode

We recommend going with VPN mode.

If the VPN mode does not work, try the Proxy mode instead.

Make sure only ONE of the options is selected! Do not select both VPN and Proxy mode at the same time.

Troubleshooting

Update the server list

Go to Server > Current Group > Update subscription.

Or use the shortcut: Ctrl+U
