# Shadowrocket \[M-series Macs]

Shadowrocket is a **third-party paid app**. However, it is very stable and regularly updated. If you have the ability, we recommend purchasing your own copy from the app store. 

Once purchased, you can also install it on your iOS devices (iPhone/iPads).

Shadowrocket is now working on all M-series Macs.

## Download the app

Open your Mac App Store. Search for "shadowrocket" and download it.

## Add the servers

### Get the api link

1. Go to your [client area](https://wannaflix.com/clientarea.php) dashboard
2. Select "Shadowrocket" from the Mac Setup dropdown menu
3. Copy the api link provided&#x20;

### Paste the api link into the app

1. Open the Shadowrocket app.
2. Click on the "+" icon on the top right corner.

3. Change the "Type" to **subscribe** (it should default to subscribe, just double check that it's the case)
4. **Paste the API link into the URL box**, type "Wannaflix" in the REMARKS box, and click **Save**.

### **Connect**

1. Select a server from the server list and toggle the switch on the top-right.
2. If it is the first time setting up the app, it will ask you to allow the creation of a VPN profile. Click allow and enter your pin/touch ID/face ID.
3. Otherwise, you will be connected.

At the top of the server list, change the "Global Routing" to **Proxy** for better stability

## Updating the App <a href="#updating-the-app" id="updating-the-app"></a>

To update the app, simply update it as you would any app downloaded from the App Store. We recommend updating it regularly, at least once a month.&#x20;

No major issues have been discovered. If you encounter any problems on Mac, please reach out to us. If we find an issue that pops up often, we'll add it here.
